There is currently a law in the works that will cause many home-based toiletries businesses to stop
producing or selling their products. It will require a huge expense on the part of those of us that import some of our ingredients
(such as shea butter) and large sums of money to register our recipes and have our products tested in labs. While I agree
that there should be safety in cosmetics, the law as planned will put all of us little guys out of business and allow only
the big ones to remain. You can read more about it at:
http://www.indiebusinessblog.com/indie_business/fda_globalization_act_of_2008/index.htmlPlease consider signing it. If this law passes, The Foxes Den
will no longer have the ability to stay in business, as well as many other small businesses.
10%
of our sales in July will go to the Humane Society.
Fresh out of the mold: George Washington's
Cherry Tree in honor of the fact that we are now living in Virgina... not too far from Ferry Farm, his childhood home. This
first batch is small to test out the scent... but it is absolutely fantastic!
This
month we will be reviving our Naturals line of soap. This will feature soap made with certified organic and naturally raised,
